Traditional systems typically force cold air at maximun speed before reaching setpoint, which causes wide fluctuations in room temperatures. To maintain room temperature consistantly, the Infinity® series air conditioners is equiped with a two-stage scroll compressor. This compressor runs on low-stage up to 80% of the time to even out the temperature and achieve up to 21.0 SEER cooling effiency.

Infinity two-stage air conditioners are amazingly quiet with sound levels as low as 66 dBA. Carrier's exclusive Silencer System II™ features a silencer top, integrated fan motor, forward-swept fan blades, compressor vibration isolator plate, sound hood and split-post compressor grommets to help deliver quiet operation by maximizing airflow and minimizing vibration.

This control allows you to schedule, temperature, humidification, dehumidification, fan speeds and more, all from one intuitive control on a wall in your home. By monitoring air conditioner functions, it can maximize performance and display maintenance reminders.
